Description
We are a French family, English speaking, looking for an English speaking live out nanny focused on providing childcare for our 5 children aged 13(girl), 10, 9, 6, 2 (all boys).
Our nanny will have experience in dealing with children, show compassionate strength of character and have the ability to win the trust of our children by demonstrating care and an ability to respond to their emotional needs through daily play, activities and interaction, adapted to their age.
Driving license required for daily nursery pick up (5min drive) and some activity drop off.
Weekly Timetable:
Monday – Friday: 11 am – 7pm (40h week)
Weekends: Off ( Saturday & Sunday)
Daily tasks:
- 11am – 2pm House keeping
o Bathrooms
o Kitchen
o Living areas
o Laundry (wash, dry, sort for ironing, sort ironed clothes per family member)
o Empty dishwasher
o 1*week: fridge cleaning, bedsheets, bedroom hoovering etc
o Make you own lunch daily
Excluded: Ironing, tidying of children room (children are to make their own bed and keep room tidy, incl. putting clean clothes back into their cupboard)
- 2pm – 7pm – Childcare
o Pick up youngest from Nursery
o Welcome children back from school
o Snack (children enjoy making it themselves occasionally)
o Ensure homework time is respected
o Ensure readiness for any after school activities
o Play – be present – defuse any tensions
o Between 5.30 – 6pm bath time
o Prepare dinner (instructions & ingredients provided) & lay the table
Parents will be back between 6.30 and 7pm.
Excluded: Grocery shopping; We have no TV and screen time is limited to homework on school provided devices. No social media !
Additional tasks:
Driving children to their activities:
- Football (3 boys + take n5 with you) 1*/week
- DIY (3 boys ) 1*/week
Children interest: Reading, cooking, Music, DIY/arts & craft, football & dance.
